The recent Reuters/Ipsos poll discovered that 50% of Americans are in favor of banning TikTok, while 32% are against it and the rest were unsure.
The survey exclusively focused on U.S. adults, failing to capture the perspectives of individuals under the age of 18, who constitute a substantial portion of TikTok’s user base in the United States. Interestingly, around 60% of respondents aged 40 and above expressed support for a ban, while approximately 40% of those aged 18-39 shared the same sentiment.
